CAR DONATION GUIDELINES

• Goodwill accepts cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, RVs and boats on trailers.
• It is not necessary for the car to be in running condition.
• Cars should have all tires at the time of donation so that the automobile is easily towed.
• The donor must be able to turn over a clear title and the keys to the car.
• Donors should remove the license plate before donating the car.
• Car should be located in one of 29 counties served by Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana.

DONOR CHECKLIST

• Have you removed your license plate from the car?
• Do you have the car's title?
• Do you have all the car's keys?
• Have you removed all personal belongings from the car?
• Does the car have all tires, so that it can be towed?
• If you believe the car is worth more than $5,000, has the car's value appraised for tax purposes?
