Bequest Language:

General Bequest

I give (dollar amount, percentage of residual estate, or description of property) to the Goodwill Industries Foundation of Central Indiana, Inc., to be used for its exempt purposes.

(Note: A residuary bequest is used to convey to the nonprofit organization all or a percentage hereof of one's property, after all debts, taxes, expenses and other bequests have been paid. It is a good idea to consult with your attorney, accountant or other personal adviser about a residuary bequest and to notify the Goodwill Industries Foundation of Central Indiana, Inc., in advance when you anticipate bequeathing tangible assets and/or real property.)


Specific Bequest -

I give (dollar amount, percentage of residual estate or description of property) to the Goodwill Industries Foundation of Central Indiana, Inc., to be used for the following purpose (e.g. scholarship endowment).

Restricted Bequest -

I give (dollar amount) to the Goodwill Industries Foundation of Central Indiana, Inc., to be held as a permanent endowment and to be known as the (person's name) Fund. I instruct that only the income from this fund may be used to support the programs of Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana, Inc., so that the endowment will exist in perpetuity.
