Shopping at Goodwill is about the thrill of the hunt. Each store sells a wide variety of new to gently used clothing, household items, furniture, books and toys at affordable prices. With more than 3,000 items added to the retail sales floor daily, inventory is ever changing. So, if you see something you like, buy it while you can. It might not be there when you come back. All merchandise is organized by departments, and clothing is sorted by color for easy browsing and shopping.

Pricing

Items are priced consistently from store to store. The prices of all clothing items are reduced by 50% within five weeks of display in our stores. View the Color of the Week rotation. In addition, on Sundays, all clothes and shoes are marked 99 cents from the current Color of the Week items.

Managers price furniture and household items based on guidelines that take into account the quality and condition of the item in question. Antiques and specialty items may follow different pricing guidelines.

Prices are not negotiable, and Goodwill does not give price adjustments for items purchased prior to their markdown. Pricing policies apply to Goodwill stores within central Indiana only.

Payment methods

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, personal checks (with valid photo identification) Visa, Mastercard and Discover. In addition, stores accept gift cards issued by Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana, Inc.

Gift cards are sold at each store location and can be purchased for $5 (minimum) -$250 (maximum). Gift cards are valid only at Goodwill's central Indiana stores or the Goodwill Outlet stores.

Return policy

Customers can return merchandise within 14 days of purchase with the receipt for any reason and receive the full value on a Goodwill gift card. All returned merchandise must have original tags attached and will require a valid driver's license or state identification card to complete the transaction. All purchases made by a personal check must wait 10 business days from the date on the receipt before a refund will be issued. Gift cards will have no expiration dates and can be used at customer's discretion.
