Brownsburg Goodwill Store now open Shopping and donating to Goodwill is now easier for Brownsburg residents. On Oct. 2, Goodwill Industries opened its first retail store in the Brownsburg community. This is the organization's 38th retail store and third in Hendricks County. “For the last several years, we have operated a very successful attended donation center (ADC) in the community,” said Tim Cooper, retail director. “Brownsburg is experiencing tremendous growth, and we know that the residents would support a Goodwill retail store in this area.” The Brownsburg Goodwill Store occupies the former Sullivan Hardware building, located at 11 E. Garner Road, and boasts 10,400 square feet, three checkout lanes, a donation drive-thru center and 25 employees. Goodwill accepts a variety of donations including gently used clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, toys and books. Donations to Goodwill are tax deductible, and receipts are available upon request. For a complete list of Goodwill's retail stores, click here.
