How good is made.

Donations that do more

At Goodwill, your donations are more than mere items—they’re vital resources that empower others. We use donation proceeds to support the education, health and employment of people in our community.

That’s how good is made.

  • The Excel Center Logo

    Donate to Educate

As of today, nearly half a million working-age Hoosiers lack a high school diploma. Recognizing this, we utilize proceeds from donations to support The Excel Center, Goodwill’s high school for adult learners. Opened in 2010, The Excel Center is a tuition-free public high school for adults that offers an Indiana Core 40 high school diploma, industry recognized certifications and college credits.

The Excel Center currently serves more than 4,200 students across 17 central & southern Indiana locations.

  • Nurse Family Partnership Logo

    Donate to Nurture

We use donation proceeds to support Goodwill’s Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP), which pairs registered nurses with individuals pregnant with their first child. Ongoing nurse visits help parents and families by providing them with resources and support during the earliest, most developmentally critical years of a child’s life.

By the end of 2023, Goodwill NFP supported over 5,000 babies born in our service area.

  • Employment Services Logo

    Donate to Empower

For someone with a disability, criminal history or lacking a high school diploma, it can be difficult to find employment. That’s why we use our donation proceeds to help people with obstacles to employment find jobs, receive skills training, and earn industry recognized certifications.

More than half of the people Goodwill employs have a disability, criminal history or lack a high school diploma.
