Clothing items are priced consistently from store to store. Managers price furniture and household items based on guidelines that take into account the quality and condition of the item in question. Antiques and specialty items may follow different pricing guidelines. Prices are not negotiable, and Goodwill does not give price adjustments for items purchased prior to their markdown. Pricing policies apply to Goodwill stores within central and southern Indiana only.
The following policy does not apply to Goodwill Outlet Store purchases, where all sales are final. At Goodwill’s stores, customers can return merchandise within 14 days of purchase with the receipt for any reason and receive the full value on a Goodwill gift card. All returned merchandise must have original tags attached and will require a valid driver’s license or state identification card to complete the transaction. Gift cards will have no expiration dates and can be used at customer’s discretion. Please note that Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana stores can only accept returns from purchases made in our central/southern Indiana territory. Locations are available here. All Goodwill agencies are independent nonprofit organizations with distinct policies. We are unable to accept returns from purchases made in other parts of the state or country.
Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. In addition, stores accept gift cards issued by Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana, Inc. Gift cards are sold at each store location and can be purchased for a minimum of $5. Gift cards are valid only at central and southern Indiana Goodwill stores and outlets.
Picking Up Online Orders
If you have won an auction at shopgoodwill.com and wish to pick your item up from Goodwill in Indianapolis, please help us follow the below guidelines to maintain social distancing:
- We are strictly limiting the number of customers per day allowed to pick up items
- Walk-ins are not allowed- this will be strictly enforced
- Customers must be able to load, lift, and carry all of their items
- Customers must provide their own packing materials
- Gloves & face coverings are suggested but not required
- If you miss your scheduled time, please call to reschedule.
- Curbside pick-up is available
